The New York State Department of Health in association with the Centers for Disease Control and the Safe Injection Practices Coalition has created an online campaign to inform patients and healthcare providers. The slogan is "One Needle, One Syringe, Only One Time". In addition, this campaign provides a Safe Injection Practice Provider Training Video that explains the importance of preventing healthcare acquired infections and demonstrates acceptable practices for healthcare providers.
